Ennio Morricone (1928-2020) was an Italian composer and conductor, known for his iconic film scores. He composed over 500 scores for cinema and television, including legendary works such as "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "Once Upon a Time in the West." Morricone's innovative use of unconventional instruments and haunting melodies helped define the Spaghetti Western genre. He won numerous awards, including two Oscars, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest film composers of all time. His music continues to inspire and captivate audiences around the world.
