He is best known for his powerful left-handed serve, which helped him win the Wimbledon Championships in 2001 as a wildcard entrant, becoming the only player to achieve this feat. Ivanisevic reached a career-high ranking of World No. 2 and was known for his entertaining playing style and passionate personality on court. He was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 2020.
