Bobby Jindal, born Piyush Jindal on June 10, 1971, is an American politician and former governor of Louisiana. He is known for being the first Indian-American to serve as a governor in the United States. Jindal attended Brown University and later studied at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar. He began his political career in the U.S. House of Representatives before being elected governor in 2007. Throughout his tenure, Jindal focused on education reform, healthcare, and disaster response. Although his policies were met with mixed reactions, Jindal remains a prominent figure in American politics.
