King Edward VI of England, born on October 12, 1537, was the son of King Henry VIII and Jane Seymour. He became King of England at the age of nine upon his father's death. Edward was a devout Protestant and played a crucial role in the English Reformation. During his short reign, he implemented religious reforms, published the Book of Common Prayer, and promoted Protestantism. Despite his youth, Edward was known for his intelligence and commitment to his beliefs. However, he tragically died at the age of 15 due to tuberculosis, leaving a lasting impact on English history.
