Michael Chang, born on February 22, 1972, in New Jersey, is a retired American professional tennis player. Known for his speed, mental toughness, and relentless work ethic, he made history by becoming the youngest male player to win a Grand Slam singles title at the French Open in 1989, aged just 17. Chang's career saw him reach a career-high ranking of World No. 2 and win a total of 34 singles titles.
