Paramahansa Yogananda was a renowned Indian spiritual leader and yogi, born in 1893. He introduced many westerners to the teachings of yoga and meditation through his book "Autobiography of a Yogi," considered a spiritual classic. Yogananda also founded the Self-Realization Fellowship to spread his teachings globally. He traveled extensively, lecturing and sharing his wisdom until his passing in 1952. His teachings continue to inspire millions around the world to seek spiritual enlightenment and inner peace.
